How to Find an MMO Guild on Discord
Most MMO guilds now live on Discord, so finding the right one usually starts there. Here is where to look and how to tell a good guild from a dead or dodgy one.
Where to look
- Your game's official Discord: most have a guild recruitment channel.
- The game's Discord page on F2PMMO, which lists guild, LFG and fan Discords with live member counts.
- Our lists of MMO Guild Recruitment Discords and MMO LFG Discords.
- F2PMMO's own Guilds page, where members team up across games.
What to check before you join
- Activity: how many members are online, and when the last event was posted.
- Time zone: raids at 3 a.m. your time won't work, however friendly the guild.
- Rules and expectations: attendance, gear checks, voice chat, language.
- Size: big guilds always have groups going; small ones are easier to get to know.
Scams to avoid
- Nobody legitimate needs your password, your two-factor codes or a QR code scan.
- Ignore DMs offering free Nitro, gold or items.
- Only add bots from their official site, top.gg or Discord's App Directory.
- If a guild asks for money to join, walk away.
